Nano-Science and technology-based educational program

Nanotechnology Research Center at National Dong Hwa University will establish strategic alliance with universities and institutes in eastern Taiwan. The center aims to integrate all teaching resources to promote comprehensive nanotechnology-based education in eastern Taiwan. In order to improving the public understanding of science in nanotechnology in eastern Taiwan, we also have four project about public science education. The proposal aims to improve public understanding of nanotechnology through informal education and public promotion. The educational programs will be based on basic science education research.

Plan Name Position
Plan 1 : Development of the mentoring model of nanotechnology volunteers from the perspective of PUST Chih-Hsiung Ku Associate Professor
Plan 2 : The assessment and promotion of civics' nanotechnology literacy via the nanotechnology learning system with both mobile and body-sensing Wen-Fu Pan Associate Professor
Plan 3 : Development and implementation of teaching materials on ecology-related nanotechnology map Yu-Chuan Yang Associate Professor
Plan 4 : Establishment of nanotechnology exhibition center for promoting education in nanotechnology through interactive learning Chih-Ming Wang Associate Professor
This program will promote the learning opportunities and literacy of nanotechnology for the mass population along the east coast of Taiwan.
